WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant & Office Manager to join our beautiful, brand-new New York City office, located in a recently renovated townhouse in the Meatpacking District. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the intersection of executive support and thoughtful office stewardship.

You will serve as a trusted partner to a Managing Director and an additional investor, managing the full spectrum of their professional lives — from complex calendar orchestration and global travel logistics to confidential correspondence and strategic project support.

Equally important, you will be the face and heartbeat of our New York office and the first impression for founders, portfolio executives, and high-profile guests who walk through our doors. This is a rare seat: a senior executive support role anchored to a public-facing partner at one of venture's most established firms, at the founding moment of a new office. Over time, the right person develops deep context on priorities, relationships, and communication styles — enabling them to proactively solve problems and independently drive outcomes with minimal oversight.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Investor Support

  • Manage complex calendars for a Managing Director and an additional investor, ensuring seamless scheduling across multiple time zones and competing priorities
  • Proactively own end-to-end scheduling of internal meetings, LP calls, board meetings, networking events, and speaking engagements
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them swiftly and diplomatically, always preserving the investor's time and relationships
  • Arrange complex domestic and international travel — flights, ground transportation, hotels, and dining reservations — and reroute with composure when plans change last-minute
  • Manage ad hoc projects assigned by the Managing Director, executing with precision, good judgment, and minimal oversight
  • Partner with the Director of Events and fellow EAs to execute firm events at the New York office, from intimate partner dinners to larger portfolio events
  • Handle sensitive business, financial, and personnel information with strict discretion and professional integrity
  • Coordinate with counterpart EAs across other offices to ensure seamless communication, shared coverage, and effective collaboration on cross-office projects

New York Office Operations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the New York office, creating an exceptional experience for founders, LPs, executives, candidates, and guests
  • Answer, screen, and direct all incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Maintain an impeccably presented lobby and front desk area that reflects Redpoint's brand and standards at all times
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations including mail and deliveries, supply ordering, kitchen and pantry stocking, conference room scheduling, and office equipment maintenance
  • Order and coordinate daily team lunches; manage catering for internal meetings and events
  • Manage vendor relationships including building management, cleaning services, IT support, and specialty vendors
  • Anticipate needs and stay one step ahead — proactively identify opportunities to improve the daily office experience

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3–8 years supporting C-suite or senior-level executives; experience within a venture capital or private equity firm strongly preferred, hyper-growth startup background welcome
  • A proven track record of managing competing priorities with precision, balancing long-term planning with rapid, real-time pivots
  • High level of attention to detail and exceptional organizational skill

  • Deep proficiency in Google Workspace and a broad suite of productivity and collaboration tools (Affinity, Airtable, Slack, MS Office); quick to adopt emerging platforms
  • Composed and solutions-oriented under pressure, with the poise to navigate high-stakes situations without disruption
  • Skill in managing a high volume of executive correspondence with speed, accuracy, and sound judgment; adept at both remote coordination and white-glove onsite support
  • Highly self-directed and resourceful — a scrappy self-starter who doesn't need hand-holding — while remaining receptive to evolving direction from leadership
  • Strong emotional intelligence with a finely tuned instinct for anticipating the needs of a fast-moving, high-performance team
  • A refined, personable presence that's professional across every interaction with founders, LPs, and the internal team
  • The utmost standard of confidentiality and discretion
