Executive Assistant to Partners


LOCATION

New York, NY

In-office, 5 days/week


COMPENSATION

$140,000–$160,000 base + discretionary bonus


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're hiring an Executive Assistant to provide a broad range of support to its Partners in the New York office. This person will partner closely with a team of tenured executive assistants to ensure efficient service delivery and smooth management of day-to-day responsibilities.

The role directly supports three principals: a senior Investor Relations Partner, a Partner on the short-selling investment team, and an incoming investment team member who will also focus on shorts. Familiarity with — or a background in — Investor Relations is a significant plus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling internal and external meetings with care and detail

  • Coordinate international and domestic travel arrangements

  • Assist with the planning and execution of events, ranging from investor and team dinners to team offsites

  • Prepare expense reports and handle data entry

  • Serve as backup coverage for fellow executive assistants as needed

  • Coordinate with the NYC office manager, acting as a firm liaison


WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a professional office, startup, or finance environment

  • Familiarity with or a background in Investor Relations (IR) — a significant plus

  • Ability to prioritize and manage a daily workload across competing priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, appropriate for a high-profile investment firm

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • A resourceful team player who is also highly effective working independently

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • A willingness to go above and beyond

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar)

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
